Sonrise Baptist Church began in March 2002 as a church plant in Ozark, MO. The church is pastored by a team of pastors. They are: Kevin Carson, Craig Carson, and Wayne Slusser.

The mission of Sonrise Baptist Church is “to glorify God by developing passionate followers of Jesus Christ.” This mission is facilitated through the following ministries:

1. Worship services (Sunday mornings & Wednesday evenings)
2. Small groups (Monday evenings & Saturday mornings)
3. Children (age appropriate Bible lessons)
4. Biblical Counseling (The Biblical Counseling ministry at Sonrise Baptist Church is certified with the National Association of Neuthetic Counselors (NANC). Bill Piatt (M.Div & NANC Fellow) is the director of this ministry)
